Sign, Sign Everywhere a Sign

One of the many things that I loved about Nagaland was all the signs on the side of the road. The signs ranged from progressive (AIDS, Environmental Conservation, Gender Issues) to words of wisdom (I was hoping to see one that read "Sometimes less is more") to corporate (Xerox was everywhere) to the very practical idea of not spitting on walls. One of the signs is for the GLOCAL Film Festival which was a collaboration between youth filmmakers in Nagaland and Rochester. It was really cool to experience the stories of youth in both locations and to learn about their shared passion for filmmaking. I hope to find a way to bring some of the Naga youth filmmakers to Rochester this summer to participate in the Rochester Teen Film Festival!!!!!
